Center for Afghan – Czech relations, Institute (CFACR Institute) was found at the beginning of 2016 and the main idea was to establish strong platform that could provide the development of international, political and cultural – social relations between the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Czech Republic and the European Union.

The CFACR Institute provides support for projects and cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Czech Republic and the European Union in the areas of:

- Health and social care,

- Science, research, education and culture

- Promotion of the values of democracy, legislation, gender and human rights.

Institute was originally found by Mr. Baz Muhammad Jauzjani, member of Wolesi Jirga, lower chamber of Afghan Parliament, who was unfortunatelly a victim of suicide bombing at the residence of the Governor of Kandahar province in January 2017.
